What Are Client Questions?
Client Questions in Knomee (called 'My Questions' in the client experience) allow clients to capture questions and thoughts that are already on their mind—using simple, guided prompts—so they can be shared with their advisor in context.
These questions are designed to reflect how clients naturally think about money, uncertainty, and the future. Rather than asking clients to frame perfect questions, Knomee provides fill-in-the-blank prompts that make it easier to articulate what they’re wondering about.
Client Questions live alongside a client’s Financial ID, helping ensure conversations reflect real concerns—not just assumptions.
Why Client Questions Matter for Advisors
Clients often carry important questions silently—especially when they’re unsure how to ask them, worried about timing, or still forming their thoughts.
Questions like:
Can I really afford this?
What happens if something changes?
When will I be able to do the thing I care about?
These questions are deeply connected to confidence, readiness, and emotional decision-making.
By seeing Client Questions directly in Knomee, advisors gain early visibility into:
What clients are actively thinking about
Where uncertainty or hesitation exists
What may be driving decisions beneath the surface
This helps advisors prepare for more focused, relevant conversations—often before the client brings the question up themselves.
How Clients Add Questions
Clients can add questions at moments designed to encourage reflection.
"My Questions" are accessible from:
Reflective moments within the client experience (such as daily mindset prompts)
A client’s Financial ID, where questions appear alongside goals, outlook, and life context
Clients choose a question prompt, complete it in their own words, and save it. Questions can be edited over time as thinking evolves.
Advisors can view client questions, but clients remain in control of adding or updating them.
Why This Feature Is Powerful
Client Questions help surface uncertainty while there’s still time to address it thoughtfully.
They:
Capture questions as they arise—not weeks later
Normalize uncertainty and curiosity
Provide insight into confidence and readiness
Help advisors prepare for meaningful, client-driven conversations
Rather than guessing what’s on a client’s mind, advisors can meet clients exactly where they are.
What to Do Next
Encourage clients to add questions as they arise
Review Client Questions before meetings
Use them as natural conversation starters
Look for patterns between questions, goals, and life events
Client Questions work best when they’re treated as evolving signals—not one-time inputs.
