Knomee collects only the information clients intentionally provide through guided questions about their values, goals, life events, and perspectives.

We do not collect:

  • Account numbers or credentials

  • Transaction-level financial data

  • Investment balances

  • Banking or custodial data

Our goal is to capture context and insight, not sensitive financial records.

2. Who can see my client’s responses — me, Knomee, or both?

Client responses are visible to:

  • The advisor who invited the client

  • The client themselves

Knomee does not sell, share, or use client responses for marketing. Data is used solely to generate insights for the advisor–client relationship.

3. Where is client data stored, and how is it protected?

Client data is securely stored using industry-standard infrastructure and safeguards, including encryption and access controls.

Only authorized systems and the inviting advisor can access client responses. Knomee follows best practices to protect data confidentiality and integrity.

4. Does Knomee use tracking tools or analytics?

Yes — Knomee uses limited analytics tools to understand product performance (e.g., feature usage, errors) and improve the experience.

These tools are not used to analyze individual client answers or financial data, and they do not change how client insights are shared.

🔄 Advisor vs. Client Experience

5. How does Knomee work for advisors vs. clients?

  • Clients complete a short, guided experience that helps them articulate values, goals, and life context.

  • Advisors receive structured insights, summaries, and conversation prompts based on what clients choose to share.

Clients reflect. Advisors gain clarity.

6. What happens after I invite a client to Knomee?

Once invited:

  1. The client completes Knomee (typically in under 10 minutes).

  2. You receive a notification when they finish.

  3. Their insights appear in your Advisor Dashboard, including:

    • Summary highlights

    • Conversation starters

    • The full client profile

7. What does the advisor see when a client completes Knomee?

Advisors see:

  • A summarized Financial Identity

  • Key themes across values, goals, and life events

  • The full underlying responses (when needed)

The output is designed to support better conversations, not replace them.

Many advisors find this helpful for:

  • Understanding the client experience
